Sure enjoyed looking at all the entries in the poultry and rabbit tent. It was good to see young people involved with their animals. Reminded me of my days as a kid showing sheep in the county fair.
I took special note of the cuckoo maran chicken. I ordered some from a hatchery and the chicks should be here next week. Hopefully they will produce the chocolate colored eggs for me. I also have hatching eggs of black copper marans coming in. Next year I may show…

I could use a few more good Khaki Campbell, Ancona (black and white) and Muscovy female ducks, that are laying right now, I'm raising ducklings for sale and want to keep my incubator full, but don't have quite enough ducks for the job.

Hello everybody. My name is Dave Lengemann and I have a small hobby farm called the Trenary Duck Farm. I am located at E2943 Timonen Road in Trenary, Michigan about a half mile south of the Holmquist feedmill. Presently there are about 40 breeder ducks consisting of muscovies, pekins and wild mallards. The ducks live in a small barn behind the house and have unlimited access to a three acre pond.
