Well we are now the proud parents of at least 6 new baby Dutch rabbits. Still waiting on the Mini Rex to start pulling her hair out:)- I candled my mallard and call duck eggs(I just couldn't help to take a peak). So far all the calls have veins and a "blob" and so do the mallards(big surprise). Now if my quail would start laying that would be awesome. I did find that my one little hen has about 13 eggs under her...though the beak marks are going to hurt for a bit..nasty bird:)-

Well I thought I was doing good with one frizzle sitting on a nest of 5 eggs. But behold my husband's call ducks started to lay and so did our mallards. Behold I have 15 duck eggs to date to put in the incubator. Oh and than yesterday I heard a small purring...looked up and saw my Old English game bird X Ameraucauna bantam hen sitting on a nest. And I don't have no idea how many eggs she is sitting on...because she is just vicious when she is sitting. And with this cold snap she can just stay on… Continue
